SPECIAL EVENTS
As costs go up and opportunities present themself, our volunteers have expanded to bring fun family events to Ogdensburg all year long. These events raise funds so we can do more!
Our "Bonus" Events during the Year
WE try to do events throughout the year so folks have something fun to do through all the seasons. New events added all the time.
Wine Beer Food & Artisan Festival
Usually the beginning of February this event is a collection of vendors from wineries, breweries, distilleries, Oils, Spices, Foods and Artisand and Crafters from all over NYS.
River Fest
Typically in June, this is the start of the summer season on the St. Lawrence River. Much like our Wine Beer Food and Artisan Festival, this event combines music and food trucks and is right on the beautiful St. Lawrence River.
Fall Festival
A mini Octoberfest type event with fall activites for all ages. There are the usual food and crafters along with many of your favorite beverage places. Music and a hayride usually top off this event.
November Craft Show & the Light Up the Night Parade & FIREWORKS
Always the Saturday before Thanksgiving this fan favorite event is the largest craft show in the area. A great way to kick off the holiday shopping season. Following the show is the spectacular Light Up the Night Parade where everyone gets their first chance to see Santa and Mrs. Claus! Following the parade there are in person visits with the Grinch, Santa & Mrs Claus and enjoy a hotdog and some popcorn and hot chocolate.
Topping off the evening is a beautiful fireworks display over the St. Lawrence River.
